Its tailored silhouette offers a graceful balance of traditional styling and modern simplicity, making it an effortless addition to both classic and transitional interiors. With clean lines and inviting proportions, this sofa delivers an elevated aesthetic while maintaining everyday comfort and livability.

One of the defining characteristics of the Salem collection is its distinctive sculpted arm design that adds subtle architectural character to the sofa’s profile. For an added layer of traditional elegance, optional nailhead trim highlights the arm contour, enhancing the tailored appearance with a refined decorative detail. This thoughtful design element adds personality while maintaining a polished, sophisticated look.

Comfort is thoughtfully engineered with plush, supportive seat cushions designed for lasting relaxation. Each cushion features a block foam core wrapped in poly fiber to create a balanced seating experience that combines support with softness. The reversible and ventilated seat cushions help extend cushion life, allowing for easy rotation while promoting airflow to maintain shape and comfort over time.

The Salem sofa is built with durable sinuous wire spring construction in both the seat and back, delivering consistent support and long-term resilience. Semi-attached back cushions maintain a clean, structured appearance while offering comfortable support for daily lounging. Zipper access on the back cushions allows for easy maintenance, helping keep the sofa looking its best.

Customization is a defining feature of the collection. Available in a wide variety of fabrics and leathers, the Salem sofa can be tailored to complement nearly any interior design palette. The collection also includes coordinating pieces such as a loveseat, chair, and ottoman, allowing you to create a complete and cohesive seating arrangement for your living space.

Completing the design are rich dark brown wood pyramid legs that provide a strong visual foundation. Their sculptural shape adds subtle sophistication while delivering durable support that enhances both the sofa’s longevity and its refined overall presentation.

"The Quality and Beauty of England Furniture

England Furniture has earned a strong reputation for quality by focusing on the fundamentals that make upholstered furniture durable, supportive, and comfortable for years of everyday use. Each piece begins with a sturdy frame built from frame-grade plywood reinforced with hardwood components, creating a solid structure designed to resist loosening or warping over time. Heavy-gauge steel sinuous springs are carefully spaced throughout the seat deck to provide consistent support and reduce sagging, while engineered foam cushions wrapped in fiber help maintain both comfort and shape. This balanced approach to construction ensures that England furniture delivers long-lasting performance without sacrificing everyday comfort.

Beyond the structural components, England also incorporates thoughtful construction details that enhance longevity and usability. Reinforced spring clips help minimize noise and movement, protective fabric barriers shield cushions from wear, and high-quality upholstery techniques keep fabrics looking and feeling great. With domestic manufacturing and decades of experience in upholstered furniture production, England is able to maintain consistent quality standards while offering a wide range of customizable styles. The result is furniture that combines dependable craftsmanship, reliable comfort, and lasting value for the home.

"Upgrade Your Seating Experience

England Coil Seat and Toranado Steel Foundation Coil

Upgrade your seating experience with England Furniture’s Coil Core seating system, designed to deliver lasting comfort and support. Unlike traditional foam cushions that can flatten over time, Coil Core cushions feature steel coils embedded within the foam to help distribute weight evenly and maintain their shape. The result is a more responsive, supportive seat that feels comfortable day after day.

Beneath the cushion, England’s Tornado Foundation Coil system adds another layer of durability with heavy-gauge steel springs that create a strong, resilient seating base. Together, these technologies combine the plush comfort of premium foam with the long-term strength of steel support—giving you a seating experience that stays comfortable, supportive, and built to last."
