An 83 inch daybed asks for a specific spot: the end of a pool, a shaded corner of a lawn, the far end of a long loggia. The Winterthur Estate daybed is built for exactly that, with a 27 inch deep seat, tall enclosing sides and the collection’s classic X decor worked into the curved arms.

## Design and Construction
The frame is premium weather-resistant powder-coated aluminum with an aluminum seat deck, so nothing about the structure needs to come indoors when the weather turns. Back and arm panels carry aluminum X classical decor accented with cast aluminum finials, and the arms curve gently rather than standing straight, which softens a large piece. The finish is Obsidian Black, a matte coloration that holds up to full weather exposure. An optional canopy is sold separately, offered only in the soft white Sunbrella Shadow-Snow sheer as shown, and it attaches simply when you want shade over the daybed.

## Comfort and Seating
The seat is 62 inches wide and 27 inches deep at a 21 inch height, with 37 inch sides and a 38 inch frame height. That deep, wide platform is the point: two people can sit facing each other with legs up, or one person can lie out fully along the length. The high sides on three faces make the daybed feel like its own small room, which is why it reads as a spa retreat rather than another sofa. The 36 inch overall depth keeps it manageable against a wall.
